It was not my plan. I’m a planner; everything has a place and I am organized. I am an animal lover. I am a volunteer. I am an outdoor enthusiast. I am a foodie. I am a traveler.  Most importantly, I am a helper; when a friend needs something, I’m dependable. So when a friend needed help with some office work and filing at a local real estate office, I agreed to help.  A few months later, I was asked to fill a full-time front desk position. Honestly, my initial reaction was, “NO WAY!” I have a BS in Science from Plymouth State University, I’m not going to sit around answering the phone and snapping my gum all day – that was not my plan. I was later convinced to take the opportunity given to me. Little did I know my stereotype of what the job entailed was WAY off! A short time later, I was encouraged to get my real estate license. I am not a sales person; I am not pushy – I am a helper. Reluctantly, I signed up for the pre-licensing class and in three short months, I had passed my real estate exam and was officially a NH Real Estate Salesperson. That was 2004.  This was not my plan!

I worked with the commercial team for several years learning from some of the best agents (in my opinion) in the business. Before transitioning to residential and land sales, I realized I love helping people, even complete strangers who often become friends. I realized I am truly lucky to have fallen in love with my career. After all, it was not my plan!
